Task 6

 10 cinemas in the UK.
  1. Chelmsford Oden = This shows the big blockbusters and all the mainstream films. This means they have a wide target audince. tickets range from £6.25 to £10.50. The expenice that you get is that you buy your food and then go and seat on a chair with no interation from a member of staff.
  2. Chelmsford Everyman= This shows less mainstream films like Hidden figures however does show mainstream films as well like the Zootropolis. This means they have a smaller target aduince there tickets are also £13.30. This expernice is very different as you order bigger food and drinks which include alcohol and you can then have waiter service which gives the cinema a higher class feel and the ticket price represents.   
  3. The private cinema company = This shows small independent films. This has a very small target audience. I couldn't find the price of these tickets. I believe this company shows very small films and you bring your own food and sit on a chair and watch the film.
  4. Cineworld Braintree= This shows mainstreams and blockbuster films. This is the same as the Oden it has a large target audience. Ticket prices range from £10.00 to £12.00.  The expenice that you get is that you buy your food and then go and seat on a chair with no interation from a member of staff apart from help getting to the seat.
  5. Billericay Community Cinema= This shows small independent films.This has a very small target audience. I also couldn't find the price of these tickets. I believe this company shows very small films and you bring your own food and sit on a chair and watch the film. 
  6. Premire Cinemas= This shows mainstream blockbusters. There attract a large number of people. All they tickets are £4.00. This is where you buy your food in the foyer and then go into the cinema and watch the film. 
  7. Vue cinema. This shows mainstream films so has a large target audience of all ages. There tickets range from £5,99 to £8.49. This is the same as most mainstream cinemas where you buy snacks and drinks then go into the cinema and watch the film.
  8. Rich mix= This shows independent films and community films. This means they target audience are smaller and likely to be films lovers. Ticket prices are £5.00 to £10.50. This is where you buy your drinks and snacks and then go into the cinema and watch the film without really talking to a member of staff. 
  9. Prince Charles Cinema= This shows a mix of blockbusters and cult films. This means they is a range of people this will attract and tickets range from £4 to £11. This is where you buy food in the foyer and then go and watch the film.
  10. Genesis cinema= this shows a mix of mainstream and independent films. This is so they can attract the biggest audience. Tickets are £4.50 to £9.50. This is where you buy tou food then go into the cinema.
Cramphorn Theatre
This shows live or recorded  theatre profromances. Tickets prices range from £14.00 to £16.00.

Chelmsford film club 
This shows inderpnedent, art house and  the best of world cinema.It is based in the Cramphorn theatre with most films starting at 8.  Memberships for a year are £60 and there are also limited guest tickets for £6.
