What days do audiences go to the cinema?

A lot of people go to the cinema are Friday and Saturday as most people are not working on the weekends. So most people go to the cinema as they have more free times. This is why a lot of special offers for cinema  are during the week for example meckat movies 2for 1 on a Tuesday. This is trying to increase the use of the cinemas during the week. The use of the cinema also increases when a big blockbuster is realsesd as lots of people want to see it this can mean people can go to the cinema any day of the week.

Action= Specture
Adventure=  Jurassic world
SIFI= Star Wars the forces wakens
Live action animation remake= Cinderella

How do audiences hear about films?

Most audience find out about films via social media and then trailers are released on platforms like You tube however they are also release it on to their apporite channels like kids films onto the Disney channel as it aims to try and increase their audience. You tubers are use to promote films like vloging the film premier to try and reach their audience as well in increase the sales.

Do audiences prefer US, UK or other nationality films?

Most people prefer us films as this is where the Big 6 release and make their films.

Do audiences like 3D films?

Most people agree that a lot of the time 3D is just extra money and is not always worth the money however some films like avitor are worth the money due to the special effects that they use.

What other ways to audiences watch film aside from the cinema?
People watch films in many ways apart from the cinema. These include;

Who do audiences go to the cinema with?

Most people go to the cinema with friends. A lot of people also go with their partners on dates. Depending on peoples age they can go with their family like a mother could go with a children on a Saturday morning.

When and where are most audiences likely to go to the cinema?

A lot of people go to the cinema on a Friday evening after work as like a end of the week treat or on a date. Families often go to the cinema during the day on Saturday and Sunday with their family as a treat. Teenagers often use the cinema in the afternoon with their friends or with their boyfriend/ girlfriend. Older teenagers and younger adults will often use the cinema in earlier to later evening for things like dates.
Also the use of the cinema depends on what type of films they show. For example oden will have a wider target audience than the everyman due to price and the films they release.
